How the automatic multipoint system works
- Close the door. Each automatic latch independently engages.
- The latches extend approximately 3/4 inch (20 mm) and become deadbolts.
- Turn the inside thumb turn 90 degrees, or use the key outside, to secure the system.
- The door is held at three locations for security and a more consistent seal.

In-swing, out-swing, left-hand and right-hand details must be confirmed.
Trim and backset
Backset, cylinder spacing and trim compatibility must match the selected lock.
Not every door qualifies. Call Nick's before ordering replacement hardware or attempting a retrofit.

No. The automatic system shown here engages the latches when the door closes. Turn the thumb turn or key to secure the lock.
No. Door height, thickness, swing, handing, backset and selected trim must all be compatible.
Retrofitting may not be practical or possible. The door and existing machining must be evaluated before replacement hardware is ordered.
