CRATING PROCESS
The Crating department builds fork-liftable custom
sized crates on pallets from scratch for each and every order.
We completely encapsulate the load in
1/2" OSB plywood and
use Styrofoam inside the crate to protect the wood
doors while in transit.
TRACKING
Once shipped from our Indiana warehouse you will be
notified by email or fax with your Tracking number (pro #) and can
track your shipment online at
www.abf.com
(Once there find at the top, right side and enter the number in
the Ref box and click Track)
Scheduled Delivery
Included with every order the
shipping company will contact you at the number provided and
schedule the delivery with you.
All door orders involve significant size and weight,
Customer is responsible for providing and arranging any offloading
help.*
Quick Ship Doors - 8 ~ 14 day delivery. Wood Doors are fully
factory assembled, pulled from stock, carefully inspected for
quality, crated fully assembled and protected with plywood on all
sides.
Clearance
Doors - 5 ~ 14 day delivery. Typically ready to crate, deliver
or pick-up. No customizations are available for clearance doors as most
are "as is" (unless noted). Pre-finishing is always available for
un-finished models.
Build Door Systems - 14 day delivery.
All N-Line, AC-Line, SW-Line, Tiffany Line, Olympus Line.
Semi-custom door systems assembled from scratch requiring that extra
time needed.
Interior Doors - 14 day
delivery. Interior Doors are shipped knocked down for freight
shipping.
Local deliveries of interior doors are pre-hung in the jamb with
shipping board at the bottom.
Stained Orders - add 2 weeks to any
standard order time, once a color has been chosen.
All stained door orders are individually wrapped for extra
protection prior to crating and shipping.
